We sell Blaze grills, install them, and repair them for years afterwards. So this is not a spec sheet. It is what we would tell you if you asked us: what the Blaze Professional LUX actually adds over the standard Blaze line, and who each one suits.
The short answer. A Blaze suits someone who wants a solid, built-in stainless gas grill without moving up to the top luxury brands. The Professional LUX is Blaze’s heaviest build: bigger burners, thicker grates and the most cooking area for its width. The standard Blaze line gives you more burners in a smaller footprint and a lift-assist hood, a tier below. Both carry the same Blaze lifetime warranty on the parts that matter most.
The two Blaze lines we sell
We sell both:
- Blaze Professional (LUX). In our Professional tier, alongside Artisan, Delta Heat, Wildfire and American Outdoor Grill.
- Blaze Grills. The standard line, in our Premium tier, alongside Bull and Lion.
Blaze is not on our showroom floor at the moment, but we order either line for you. The comparison below uses Blaze’s own published specs for two models people often weigh up: the 34-inch Professional LUX and, from the standard line, the 32-inch Premium LTE+.

What the LUX adds
Bigger burners. Three burners at 18,000 BTU each against four at 14,000. Total output is close, but each LUX burner puts out more heat, which is what you feel when you sear.
Heavier grates. The LUX uses 12mm hexagon rods; the LTE+ uses 9mm triangular rods. Thicker steel holds more heat, so the grate gives a stronger sear and recovers faster when cold food goes down.
More cooking area. 816 square inches against 715, from a grill only two inches wider.
What the standard line does better
More burners in less space. Four burners in 32 inches gives you more separate heat zones: searing on one side, something slow on the other, and room for a warming zone between.
A lift-assist hood. The LTE+ hood is spring-assisted, so it lifts with less effort. Blaze does not list a spring assist on the LUX.
A tier lower. It sits in our Premium tier rather than Professional. Ask us for current prices; they change, and we would rather give you the real number.
What they have in common
Both use the same push-and-turn ignition, with a flash tube as a backup, and both have a 10,000 BTU rear infrared burner for rotisserie cooking. Both hoods are double-lined, and both have lit knobs and interior lights for cooking after dark.
The warranty is the same too. Blaze covers the main burners, cooking grids, body, flame tamers, heat zone separators, warming rack and control valves for life, and the ignition, electronic and lighting systems for one year. You have to register the grill with Blaze within 30 days to get it.
Where a Blaze needs looking after
Cast stainless burners and heavy grates are built to last, but a Blaze still needs the same attention as any gas grill, and Blaze’s own manual says so.
- The drip tray. Blaze says to clean it after every use, once it is cool. A full tray is a common cause of grease fires on any grill.
- The burners. Stainless does not stop the ports clogging with grease, or spiders nesting in the burner tubes. Blaze lists the signs: yellow flames with a smell of gas, uneven heat, a grill that will not get hot, or a popping sound. If you see any of them, stop and have the burners cleaned.
- Ignition and lights. Blaze covers the burners, grates, body and valves for life, but the ignition, electronics and lighting for one year. After that, those are the parts you pay to replace. The lights also need power: a transformer on a GFI-protected circuit, which is worth planning for in a new island.
- Salt air. Blaze’s warranty does not cover discoloration or surface rust from salt, chlorine or humidity. Close to the coast, wipe the grill down, let it dry before you put the cover on, and do not leave it covered while damp.
We repair Blaze grills, whoever installed them: burners, valves, ignition, lights and the rest. See the grill brands we repair.
Is a Blaze right for you?
Choose the Professional LUX if you sear a lot, cook for a crowd, and want the heaviest build Blaze makes.
Choose the standard Blaze line if you want more burners and heat zones in a compact island, an easier hood, and a lower tier.
Look further up, at our Luxury tier (Twin Eagles, Fire Magic, Alfresco), if the grill is the centerpiece of the outdoor kitchen and you want the top of the market.
If you are replacing a built-in, the deciding factor is often the cut-out. A grill that matches your opening swaps straight in. A bigger one means reshaping the island, and a smaller one gets our GrillFitter so it looks like the island was built around it.

Keeping a Blaze at its best
Brush the grates while they are still warm after each cook, and empty the drip pan before it fills. Once every 1 to 2 years, a full professional cleaning takes the grill apart, degreases every part and tunes the burners and igniters, with a light cleaning every six months in between.
