Same size
Plenty of grills swap straight in. If a current model matches your cut-out, there is no stonework at all, and it is usually the quickest route to a new grill.
Going bigger
We reshape the cut-out to take the larger grill. The dashed lines are your opening today; the hatched strips are what comes out.
Custom fabrication where the island needs it.
Going smaller
A smaller, more economical grill leaves a gap either side. Our GrillFitter® closes it, so the new grill looks like the island was built around it.
Freestanding
No island and no cut-out to match. Choose the grill, in the showroom or with us on site, and we set it up where you cook.

Grill installation
We install the grills we sell, built into the island you already have or freestanding on the patio. You get a new grill, not a new project. Changes to the island itself, like reshaping a cut-out for a bigger grill, are quoted separately, and you see that price before anything is ordered.

A Blaze Professional going into an older island. The overhang was notched on both sides so the trim kit sits flush to the wall, and the trim kit lifts the grill clear of the concrete base. From the patio, it looks like it was always there.

Installation of our new grill was done on time and professionally. Months into our Blaze purchase we began to have problems with the electrical components of the grill- after contacting SDBBQ they were very attentive and came down to our house twice to asses and then to resolve the issues. They worked directly with the manufacturer and made it happen.
Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Kenneth was excellent, on time to the minute, BBQ looked great after he was done, no mess whatsoever in the surrounding area, explained everything, even went out of his way to find a replacement part from an offsite since it was not made anymore. Definitely will see you back next year!!!!
I originally purchased my barbecue from San Diego barbecues about five years ago, the installation was absolutely amazing with them even building a custom sleeve around where the barbecue meets the island. Recently, a burner went out so I had them come out and do a full cleaning and replace the burner. They did an amazing job making my barbecue look like it was almost brand new, and working like a champ again. About a month later, one of the other burners went out and they came out next day to get me up and running again. The service is simply fantastic and I can’t recommend them highly enough.

I've used other BBQ cleaners before. Some forgot to reinstall much needed parts. And one 'lost' burner parts that I had to pay to replace. San Diego BBQ Cleaners did everything I asked and we tested for the desired outcome. They did a terrific job. I will use them again.
