The Delta Heat grills in our job photos have U burners over ceramic briquettes in trays, an infrared sear burner, a rear rotisserie burner and halogen hood lights. Double side burners and freestanding Delta Heat grills too.
Usually the electrode, the igniter wiring or the module. Ignition is the repair we do most on Delta Heat grills. Electrodes foul with grease and move out of line, and the wires and valves behind the control panel collect damp and corrode. Our technician tests the spark at each burner, then adjusts or replaces the electrode, the wire or the module. The sear and rotisserie burners have their own electrodes, and we check those too.
A bulb, a lens, the wiring or the transformer. Lights come up far more on Delta Heat than on most brands we work on: the halogen hood lights sit inside the firebox, where grease coats the lens. We clean or replace the lens, replace the bulb, and trace the wiring and transformer if that is not enough.
Grease and ash have clogged the U burner ports, or the burner has corroded. We drill out the ports that can be cleared and replace a burner that cannot, with a new stainless U burner, then check each one lights blue and even along its length.
Usually a fouled screen, or the electrode or thermocouple. The infrared sear burner's screen clogs with grease, and the rear rotisserie burner has an electrode and a thermocouple that both wear. We clean or replace the burner, test the electrode and thermocouple, and light it before we leave.
Worn briquettes and trays. The ceramic briquettes soak up grease and the trays wear out, until grease reaches the flame. We replace the briquettes and trays, and clear what is underneath.
A stiff or seized valve. We free it up and lubricate it, or replace it if it is past that, and replace worn knobs.
Delta Heat puts the model and serial number on the data nameplate on the rear panel of the grill, and a second label under the right side of the control panel (Delta Heat DHBQ care and use manual). The label under the control panel is the easy one to reach. Send us a photo of it and we will find the part your Delta Heat needs.
From the parts we fit most, at your home:
For older Delta Heat grills we source parts from more than 100 vendors; a photo of the data label is usually all we need.
Most of our Delta Heat jobs are cleanings. Our full cleaning takes your Delta Heat apart to its components:
Lights, rotisserie and side burners are cleaned and checked on the same visit.
We are authorized to service Delta Heat grills. Still under warranty? Contact us with your model and serial number and we will help you through the warranty process. Out of warranty, we fix it and give you the price first.
We sell and install Delta Heat. The consultation is free, at your home: we measure the space, photograph it, and come back with grills that fit. Installation is free when you buy the grill from us; we have fitted a new Delta Heat 38 with a double side burner into a brick island. If the new grill is smaller than your island's cut-out, our GrillFitter® closes the gap; going bigger, we reshape the cut-out.

Usually, yes, on the same visit.
Most Delta Heat light faults are a burned-out halogen bulb, a lens coated in grease, or the transformer. We trace which one it is before we replace anything, and test the lights before we leave.

We work on Delta Heat grills of every age, 26, 32 and 38 inch. Burners, briquettes, igniters and lights for older models can usually still be found; we source them from more than 100 vendors and price the repair before any work starts.

We replace the infrared sear burner and the rear rotisserie burner, and their electrodes and thermocouples when they have gone. Send a photo of the burner and the data label and we will confirm the part and the price.
Often, yes, depending on the model.
We check the model on the data label first, confirm the conversion and the price, then fit the parts and test every burner. A grill on the wrong gas burns low, so it is worth checking after a move.
A full cleaning every one to two years keeps a Delta Heat close to new in looks and in how it cooks, and a light cleaning every six months in between keeps the grates and briquettes right.
Keeping grease off the hood light lenses keeps the lights working too.

We clean and repair Delta Heat grills on a cart as well as built-ins. The parts and the cleaning are the same as for the built-in version, and we do the work where the grill stands.
Yes.
We sell Delta Heat and install it free when you buy the grill from us, after a free consultation at your home. If the new grill does not match your island's cut-out, our GrillFitter or a reshaped cut-out makes it fit.
It depends on the fault and the part.
Send a photo for a free estimate, or we find the fault at the grill; either way you get the price before any work starts. Cleaning is priced by grill width, and a repair found during a cleaning is priced before we do it.
