Freestanding gas grill, the Weber we see most
We have done 1,500+ jobs on Weber grills since 2015, most of them on Genesis, Summit and Spirit gas grills. We do Weber grill repair at your home anywhere in San Diego County and from Temecula up to Hemet, find the fault, and give you the price before anything gets fixed.

Older Weber gas grills too, and Webers built into islands.
Usually the igniter, the electrode or the battery. Ignition is the Weber repair we do most. The push-button igniter wears out, electrodes crack or move away from the burner, wires corrode, and the battery runs flat. Our technician tests the spark at each burner, then replaces the igniter, electrode or wire that has failed and fits a new battery.
Often the regulator. A Weber regulator can trip and hold the flame low on every burner, and old regulators and hoses fail. Regulators and hoses are the third repair we do most on Weber grills. We test the regulator under pressure and replace it and the hose if they have failed, and check that the grill is set up for the gas you have: propane or natural gas.
A clogged or rusted burner, or its valve. Grease and rust close the burner ports, so one burner lights weak or not at all, and in time the tube rots through. We clear the ports or replace the burner, check the valve, and make sure each burner lights from the one beside it.
Grease built up in the grill, and worn Flavorizer bars. Weber's heat plates sit over the burners and catch the drips; when they rust through, or grease builds up under them and in the cook box, flare-ups follow. We clean out the grease, replace the bars if they have rusted through, and clean the grease tray and catch pan. One Weber Summit owner's review thanks our technician for showing why it was flaring up.
A stiff or seized valve. We free it up and lubricate it, or replace it if it is past that, and replace knobs that are cracked or missing.
Weber puts the serial number on a data label fixed to a part of the grill; where it is depends on the model, and Weber shows each one (Weber: Where is my serial number?). Weber gas grill serial numbers start with one or two letters, then five to seven digits. Send us a photo of the label and we will find the part your Weber needs.
From the parts we fit most, at your home:
For older Webers we source parts from more than 100 vendors; a photo of the data label is usually all we need.
Most of our Weber jobs are cleanings. Our full cleaning takes your Weber apart to its components:
A side burner is cleaned and checked on the same visit, and two grills can go on one booking.
When one part has failed, a repair is often all a Weber needs. If the repair would cost close to a new grill, we say so, and you get a price for each option. Thinking of moving up to a built-in? The consultation is free, at your home, and installation is free when you buy the grill from us.

Most of our Weber jobs are in San Diego, Carlsbad, Encinitas and Del Mar.
“Very detailed oriented and let me know why I was getting flare ups in my Weber Summit grill.”
“He gave new life to our Weber and also gave me some really cool tips on keeping things cleaner when grilling certain types of food.”
“This was our second cleaning by San Diego BBQ, and second by Matt. Very thorough and complete job on my Weber Spirit 2 burner model.”
“I have NEVER seen this grill this clean since I bought it 7 years ago.”
Often, yes.
Most Weber repairs are a single part: an igniter, a burner or a regulator. If the cook box has rusted through, or the repair would cost close to a new grill, we tell you, and you get a price for each option before any work starts. Is fixing an old grill worth it?
Yes.
Genesis is the Weber we see most by name, old and new. The usual work is a cleaning, then the igniter, burners, the regulator and hose, and the Flavorizer bars. A photo of the data label tells us which parts your Genesis takes.
Yes, both.
We work on Spirit grills from two burners up, and on Summit grills, Weber's larger line. The parts and the cleaning differ by model, so a photo of the grill and its data label helps us bring the right ones.
Usually the regulator has tripped or failed, or the hose has.
It can also be a grill set up for propane on a natural gas line, or the reverse. We test the regulator under pressure, replace what has failed, and convert the grill if it is on the wrong gas.
Often, yes, depending on the model.
We check the model on the data label first, confirm the conversion and the price, then fit the parts and test every burner. A grill on the wrong gas burns low, so it is worth checking after a move.
A full cleaning every one to two years keeps a Weber close to new in looks and in how it cooks, and a light cleaning every six months in between keeps the grates and Flavorizer bars right.
A cleaning also clears the grease that feeds flare-ups.
No, we do not sell Weber.
We clean and repair them, and if you would rather replace yours with a built-in grill, we sell and install those, with a free consultation at your home and free installation when you buy the grill from us.
It depends on the fault and the part.
Send a photo for a free estimate, or we find the fault at the grill; either way you get the price before any work starts. Cleaning is priced by grill width, and a repair found during a cleaning is priced before we do it.
