We have done 350+ jobs on AOG grills since 2015, L-Series and T-Series, 30 and 36 inch. We are authorized to service them, and we sell and install new ones. We come to you anywhere in San Diego County and from Temecula up to Hemet, find the fault, and give you the price before anything gets fixed.

AOG grills on a cart or post too. The AOG grills in our job photos have stainless U burners under heat plates, and some have lit knobs.
Usually the igniter, the electrode or the battery. Ignition is the repair we do most on AOG grills. Electrodes wear and move out of line, wires corrode, and batteries run flat. Our technician tests the spark at each burner, then replaces the igniter, electrode or wire that has failed and fits a new battery.
Grease, ash and rust have clogged or scaled the U burners. Over the years the ports close and the stainless scales and pits. We drill out what can be cleared and replace burners that cannot with new stainless U burners, then check every burner lights blue and even.
A seized valve, or a worn knob. Valves and knobs come up more on AOG grills than on most brands we work on. We free up and lubricate a stiff valve, or replace it if it is past that, and replace worn knobs and the LED bezels on grills with lit knobs.
Often the regulator or the hose, or clogged burners. We test the regulator under pressure and replace it if it has failed, clear the burner ports, and check the grill is set up for the gas you have.
The heat plates have rusted or burned through. They sit over the burners and catch the grease; once they have holes in them, grease reaches the flame. We replace them, often on the same visit as the burners.
We clear it out. We find droppings in AOG fireboxes and in the island underneath. Every cleaning starts with a check for rodents, and if they have been in, sanitization is an add-on when you book. We then check the wiring and gas parts they can damage.
AOG puts the serial number on an aluminum tag on the left side of the grill body, above the front leg, and on a label under the drip tray handle; the rating label is on the manifold channel behind the front face panel (AOG L and T Series built-in installation and owner's manual). Empty the drip tray and turn it over to read the label. Send us a photo of it and we will find the part your AOG needs.
From the parts we fit most, at your home:
For older AOG grills we source parts from more than 100 vendors; a photo of the serial tag is usually all we need.
Most of our AOG jobs are cleanings. Our full cleaning takes your AOG apart to its components:
We are authorized to service AOG grills. Still under warranty? Contact us with your model and serial number and we will help you through the warranty process. Out of warranty, we fix it and give you the price first.
We sell and install American Outdoor Grill. The consultation is free, at your home: we measure the space, photograph it, and come back with grills that fit. Installation is free when you buy the grill from us. If the new grill is smaller than your island's cut-out, our GrillFitter® closes the gap; going bigger, we reshape the cut-out.

We are authorized to service American Outdoor Grill, L-Series and T-Series. If your AOG is under warranty, contact us with the model and serial number from the tag or the drip tray handle and we will help you through the warranty process. Out of warranty, you get the price before we start.

AOG is the short name for American Outdoor Grill, made by the same company as Fire Magic. Owners and parts lists use both names, and we work on both the L-Series and the T-Series.
Yes.
We work on AOG grills of every age. Burners, heat plates, igniters and valves for older models can usually still be found; we source them from more than 100 vendors and price the repair before any work starts.
The knob lights and the igniter are separate parts, so lit knobs do not mean the spark is working.
Usually the electrode is fouled or out of line, or the igniter battery is flat. We test the spark at each burner and replace the part that has failed.
Often, yes, depending on the model.
We check the model on the serial tag first, confirm the conversion and the price, then fit the parts and test every burner. A grill on the wrong gas burns low, so it is worth checking after a move.
A full cleaning every one to two years keeps an AOG close to new in looks and in how it cooks, and a light cleaning every six months in between keeps the grates and heat plates right.
Yes.
We clean and repair AOG grills on a cart or a post as well as built-ins. The parts and the cleaning are the same as for the built-in version, and we do the work where the grill stands.
Yes.
We sell American Outdoor Grill and install it free when you buy the grill from us, after a free consultation at your home. If the new grill does not match your island's cut-out, our GrillFitter or a reshaped cut-out makes it fit.
It depends on the fault and the part.
Send a photo for a free estimate, or we find the fault at the grill; either way you get the price before any work starts. Cleaning is priced by grill width, and a repair found during a cleaning is priced before we do it.
